QUETTA, October, 2025 — Promoting safety and respect through awareness, the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) held an interactive session at BUITEMS, Quetta.

Led by FOSPAH Law Officer Ms. Tayyaba Kakar and Assistant Registrar Mr. Muhammad Usman, the session engaged students and faculty in a candid discussion on harassment laws, the scope of FOSPAH’s work, and the complaint mechanisms available in Balochistan.

The session broke down what legally constitutes harassment, highlighted the rights of all individuals under the Protection Against Harassment Act, and emphasized how to seek redress. Participants were encouraged to recognize their role in building safe, respectful environments on campus, in workplaces, and beyond.

The initiative aimed to empower attendees to speak up, seek help, and support others making awareness the first step toward real protection.
