Islamabad, The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), in collaboration with the National Institute of Electronics (NIE), organized an awareness session on the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010.
The session was led by Law Officer Mr. Mohsin Sheikh, who explained the legal framework, complaint mechanisms, and the institutional responsibilities for fostering a safe and respectful workplace.
Participants were sensitized on how to identify, report, and address workplace harassment, with emphasis on the role of inquiry committees and the protections guaranteed under the Act.
The joint initiative by FOSPAH and NIE underlines their shared commitment to building inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free institutions, ensuring dignity and equal opportunity for all employees.
