Karachi, September 3, 2025 – Renowned banker, thought leader, and current Banking Mohtasib of Pakistan, Sirajuddin Aziz, unveiled his latest book Corporate Success: Engaged Leadership – Insights & Strategies at a ceremony held at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.

The event was attended by leading figures from business, academia, and policymaking circles, who praised the book as a timely and insightful contribution to the evolving discourse on corporate leadership and governance.
Jameel Ahmad, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, commending Aziz for producing a work that blends decades of professional banking experience with strategies rooted in engagement, ethics, and resilience.
The keynote address was delivered by Senator Javed Jabbar, Former Federal Minister, who lauded the book as Aziz’s “tenth landmark contribution,” likening it to “scoring a century in cricket.” He particularly noted the endorsement of the book by six former Governors of the State Bank of Pakistan and its breadth of 87 essays.
Adding academic perspective, Dr. Huma Baqai, Rector of the Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship, described the book as bridging the gap between practical corporate realities and academic scholarship, while Dr. Ikram Sehgal, Chairman Pathfinder Group, hailed it as a guide for corporate leadership in times of both opportunity and crisis.
Speaking at the launch, Sirajuddin Aziz reflected on his journey and responsibilities as Banking Mohtasib, noting: “Leadership today demands both insight and empathy. This book shares strategies that blend experience with principled engagement, to help future leaders chart a sustainable corporate course.”
The book marks Aziz’s continued commitment to leadership thought and governance reform, drawing upon his dual vantage point as a veteran banker and as the nation’s Banking Mohtasib, entrusted with protecting citizens from maladministration in the financial sector.
