PESHAWAR – The Office of the Provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the leadership of H.E. Rubab Mehdi, has introduced a series of landmark reforms to strengthen accountability, improve coordination, and ensure speedy justice for citizens.

Through the newly established Conflict Resolution Desk, 30 long-pending cases were resolved amicably, ensuring time efficiency and fair outcomes. The office also launched a dedicated and secure official website and email system, replacing the earlier reliance on personal Gmail and Hotmail accounts. This step has enhanced professionalism, security, and institutional credibility.
Additionally, the establishment of the PMRU Official Desk has made correspondence more timely and transparent, enabling district administrations and police officials to receive directives promptly under a structured appeal system.
Better coordination with Deputy Commissioners has also resulted in over 180 reports, reinforcing evidence-based decisions and ensuring effective implementation of orders at the district level.
These historic initiatives reflect the Ombudsperson’s strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and providing citizens with faster, more accessible justice in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
