PESHAWAR, H.E. Rubab Mehdi, Provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, met today with Minister for Social Welfare, Hon. Syed Qasim Ali Shah, to discuss strategies for improving the welfare of society, with a strong focus on protecting vulnerable children and enhancing the support available at the Women Crisis Center.

The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both offices to strengthen social safety nets, improve institutional services, and ensure that protection and empowerment remain central to welfare initiatives.

As part of the visit, H.E. Rubab Mehdi also engaged with staff members at ZamungKor. A Child Protection Institution and the Women Crisis Center. These interactions reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts and the vital role these institutions play in offering hope, dignity, and opportunity to those they serve.

The discussions and visits underscored the belief that with coordinated action, the province can build a future where every individual, especially vulnerable women and children, can thrive in safety and dignity.
