Peshawar: In a strong step toward survivor empowerment, the Office of the Provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has partnered with Da Hawwa Lur to develop an institutional referral mechanism aimed at supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).
This collaborative initiative ensures access to:
- ✅ Free legal aid
- ✅ Medical treatment
- ✅ Psychosocial counseling
- ✅ Swift GBV response services
By strengthening interdepartmental coordination, the partnership prioritizes dignity, care, and accessibility—delivering support that is free of cost and survivor-centered. The joint effort highlights a shared commitment to building safer, more responsive systems for those in need.
